"Boys In Blue" for Showtime

Mandon Lovett is set to produced the four-part documentary series from Showtime "Boys In Blue" (Film 45). The project, directed by Peter Berg, follows the football team at Minneapolis North High School that is coached by a group of Black police officers. In the wake of the murder of George Floyd, Minneapolis became ground zero for the national conversation surrounding race and policing in America. The series embeds with the football team, the police department, and the city council as they grapple with and live through one of the most turbulent moments in history. The series is set to release in the summer of 2022.
