Mandon Lovett is an American filmmaker whose focus is on feature-length documentaries and non-scripted television series in the world of sports, music, and culture. He profiles enigmatic figures, and polarizing topics - telling stories of aspiration and inspiration. He is fascinated by the idea, pursuit, and realities of the American Dream.
He directed on the IDA Award-winning television series “Origins of Hip Hop” (Netflix), produced “Boys In Blue” (Paramount+) alongside Peter Perg and directed on “Rap Caviar Presents” (Hulu). His debut feature documentary “French Montana: For Khadjia” (Paramount+) premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Festival. His latest feature documentary, "Go Deep: The DeSean Jackson Story" (Amazon Prime) premieres Fall 2026.
Currently, he has multiple projects in development and production for a variety of premium streaming platforms.
