"Origins of Hip-Hop" for A&E

Mandon Lovett directed two episodes of the forthcoming multi-part documentary series from A&E, "Secret Origins of Hip-Hop" (Mass Appeal). The biographical series, releasing in the summer of 2022, charts the legacy of the genre's greatest acts. Lovett directed the episodes chronicling the rise of the rapper, Ice-T and the DJ, Lil Jon. The episodes were shot in New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.
